Extra Curricular Activities

Spending years in the school should enable a student to acquire principles of conduct and action and lay a solid foundation for true and purposeful living when he/she grows up. In these activities, the students learns to do things for themself and with others under the supervision and guidance of moderators. Accordingly, facilities are provided for a variety of activities such as:

  1. Sports & Games.
  2. Art & Craft.
  3. Excursion.
  4. Science Exhibition.
  5. Celebration of Winter Carnival.
  6. Annual Concert.
  7. Training in Music & Dance.

Co-Curricular Activities

The students of this school are placed in different houses to which they belong for the rest of their school career. The four houses are Gandhi (Blue), Nehru (Green), Bose (Red) & Tagore (Yellow). Various competitions are organized within and among the houses. Along with bringing out the potentials of the students in various activities like sports, debate, elocution, art & craft, extempore, group discussion, science modelling, essay writing, etc, they also serve the purpose of inculcating strong sense of belongingness, loyalty and tolerance among the students. Each house has its separate Captain and Vice-Captain headed by Head Boy/Head Girl and House Masters.

The GANDHI HOUSE is named after the father of the Nation, who practised peace and victory through truth and non-violence throughout his life.
The motto of the house is "TRUTH".

The NEHRU HOUSE is named after the First Prime Minister of free India, a great literatus, an orator, philosopher, visionary and the dreamer of Modern India.
The motto of the house is "PEACE".

The BOSE HOUSE is named after Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the founder of Azad Hind Fauj.
The motto of the house is "STRENGTH".

The TAGORE HOUSE is named after the first Nobel Prize winner of India and the composer of Our National Anthem - Rabindra Nath Tagore.
The motto of the house is "WISDOM".
